I moved to Vermillion in 1983, from Los Angeles, CA. I began my education at UCLA, completing it at USD with a degree in History (minor in Spanish). I have been associated with several local organizations: ESA, Theta Omega Chapter, serving a year as president; Vermillion Youth Soccer League, serving several years as treasurer; Parent Supporter of Vermillion High School Tennis; Vermillion PTA member; and a volunteer at the various school buildings for many years. I also served on the Vermillion City Council, completing the term of a resigning councilperson. My husband, David Day, is a Professor of Law at USD. I have four children (Dan, Elizabeth, Sarah & David) who live in various parts of the country.
