I was born and raised in Elwood, Nebraska. I attended college in Lincoln, where I met my husband, Wade. We came to Vermillion in 1995 when Wade was accepted to the Physician Assistant program at USD. I graduated from USD with a Bachelor’s in Social Work in 1997. I graduated with a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2008 and immediately started working at the Vermillion Public Library. I have been at the library for eight years, the last seven as the Technical Services Librarian. My husband Wade is the chair of the Physician Assistant Program at USD, and we have two kids – Ethan and Sophia.
