Welcome
The Vermillion Public Schools Foundation was founded in 2006 by citizens wishing to support the public education system in Vermillion, SD. It is our belief that good public schools are the result of many people; teachers, administrators, parents and the general citizenry, all of whom understand that in today’s world, we can achieve more when working together in a public-private partnership. The motto of the VPSF is “To support opportunities for life-long learners in a diverse world.” That can best be accomplished together.
The VPSF allows citizens a tax-deductible means to directly support educational opportunities for Vermillion schoolchildren that cannot be funded by local, state, or federal dollars. The VPSF also works to enrich existing curricular, co-curricular and extra co-curricular programs with supplemental funding to create a learning environment that ensures our students are avid readers, logical thinkers, and creative writers.
